Software is eating the world, and yet ensuring technology provides value to your organization remains an immense challenge. Why is this the case? I’ll state the following broadly: Context-specific ideas are too-often marketed as universal solutions. In other words, technology is not universal. We need a new way to evaluate how to solve the problems at hand and fully realize the benefits of technology.
